The opportunity

The Digital and Technology Director – Student Experience is an exciting new leadership opportunity, reporting to the Chief Digital Officer and responsible for the strategic leadership, design and delivery of the Student Experience Portfolio which includes a diverse range of services including our digital Teaching and Learning capabilities, Digital Channels and our work with Student Support Services.

Working as part of the Digital and Technology Senior Leadership Team, the role provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to bring their enthusiasm and track record for delivering cutting edge, memorable digital customer experiences that align to the University’s ambitious strategy and goals.

About you

Your profile will include:

  • A background in strategic digital leadership with experience of delivering digital products and services to transform customer experience.
  • Experience of leading high performing multi-disciplinary, agile aligned digital teams through change and transformation initiatives.
  • A strong understanding of the digital marketplace, and key technology trends to understand the strategic direction, and implications of systems and services.
  • Demonstrable experience of driving and championing new ways of working at scale across multiple products and services.
  • Extensive experience of working collaboratively with Senior Leadership colleagues.
