The opportunity

Provide specialist support with the deployment, management, maintenance, development, capacity management, and security assurance of the VMware vSphere/Cloud/VMware ARIA/VDI Infrastructure/NSX-T/VMware Tanzu through Kubernetes infrastructure as a member of the Infrastructure Services team within the Digital and Technology department.

 

Participate in internal and external networks to ensure the successful integration and delivery of IT services across the University. Maintain an awareness of developing applications and technologies, evaluating the impact on existing systems architecture, and the development of areas of specialisation.

About you

Hypervisor

Minimum 5 years on any Hypervisor and Enterprise level design experience and excellent hands-on working knowledge of Linux platform

 Or working experience of VMware vSphere

 

 

K8’s

Minimum of two years’ experience

VMware Tanzu Grid platforms

Enterprise-level design experience and implementation of any K8’s

Hands on experience

 

API’s, Micro Services and Container Clusters

Knowledge of REST API

Working experience with RESTful API

Automation Tools

 

Ansible

 

 

Saltstack/Chef/Puppet

CI/CD Tools- Jenkins
