The opportunity

You will be part of the timetabling team at the London College of Communication. You will be responsible for assisting the development and provision of timely and accurate student and staff timetables and in updating these. You will be involved in managing ad hoc bookings in local meeting rooms and centrally owed space as well as negotiating the accommodation of activities in neighbourhood owned rooms in liaison with various other stakeholders.

You will provide excellent support for staff and Students’ including representing timetabling at various and meetings. You will ensure that the University’s academic policies and procedures especially in relating to Timetabling are communicated and implemented at College level.  You will be dedicated to delivering high quality experiences to both students and staff: responding to queries and and requests including providing various reports. 

About you

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working in a large and complex organisation – ideally within higher education, who has strong communication skills both written and oral, and with excellent attention to detail. 

You are a fast learner who is able to quickly build strong and positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues. You will have excellent organisational skills and can plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work in order to achieve objectives, you will be able to work in a high pressure environment within tight time constraints. 

You will represent Timetabling at both formal and informal meetings, and your track record will include commitment to continuous improvement and solving challenges through innovation. Great problem solving and decision-making skills are crucial.
