The opportunity

MA Narrative Environments is seeking a Stage Coordinator to support students through their Major Project year. The role involves teaching a weekly general year session regarding process and production and leading a tutorial group related to area of expertise. The role also involves coordinating practitioner visits, theory sessions and workshops, collaborating with the course team on curricular development, and communicating with other tutors to ensure clarity of next steps for students and tutorial team.

This is a part-time role, 14.8 hours per week (2 days a week on Monday and Tuesdays).

About you

You will possess a strong academic background having ideally attained undergraduate in relevant or associated subjects. You will demonstrate experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment and will be capable of supporting both the academic experience of students and providing pastoral care and attention.

You will be a collaborative team worker and effective people manager, who is capable of planning, prioritising and managing resources efficiently in order to achieve objectives. Additionally, you will be able to provide evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that provides contemporary insight to the role.
