The opportunity

The School of Performance at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL, provides a single campus experience where Acting and Performance and Performance Design and Technologies are delivered together. With live performance as its primary focus, the school provides a collaborative and technically rich environment where ‘performance’ can be fully explored. Following a multimillion-pound investment programme, Wimbledon is now progressing with its ambition to become a world leading centre for performance.

To fully activate our new performance spaces, we are expanding our staff team. We are investing a department of specialist technicians, capable of growing our performance portfolio and contributing towards raising our global profile as a ‘centre for performance’.

The technical team within the school of performance support the theatre alongside several technically enhanced spaces, hosting numerous live performance productions throughout the year. Working through developmental stages and rehearsals through to the final output, the live performance technicians are an integral part of the student journey.
