The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a costume specialist with performance industry experience to play a key role contributing to teaching and learning in the specialist area of Costume Menswear for Performance.
 
The role is based at Lime Grove studios, which is part of the London College of Fashion and provides a variety of make-up, costume and photography facilities and specialist 3D studios and workshops. Note we are relocating to Stratford London in Summer 2023 permanently. 
 
With your professional expertise, you will provide guidance, advice and contribute to the delivery of teaching, learning, and technical activities within the College, as well as contribute to the planning and development of the Costume for Performance programmes.

About you

With a degree or an equivalent qualification/experience in costume construction in the tradition of menswear, you will be a motivated, creative individual with high levels of technical competence and a dedication to technological development. With good communication skills, you will be able to contribute critical input to student concept and expressive/creative intention, including giving feedback to students and helping with student formative assessments, with reference to appropriate learning outcomes of the course or project.
