The opportunity
The Cosmetic Science area at London College of Fashion is well-established and renowned for its specialist educational offer, aimed to the global Cosmetics Industry. Based on the success of its undergraduate provision, we now offer a unique Integrated MSc Cosmetic Science course, teaching a wide range of disciplines relevant to the Cosmetics and related industries. Our staff and students are also engaged in research and industry-led projects which enrich the curriculum and enhance graduate employability. Currently, there is an opening for a Senior Lecturer in Cosmetic Science which is an important and dynamic role in this area. About you
A Master’s degree-level background in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical or Cosmetic Science is a must, with doctoral qualification(s) being desirable. Experience with product formulation and/or evaluation and some educational/training background is also essential as well as some experience with data processing and statistics. You will have experience teaching in Higher Education in the UK or abroad and a track record of research, research relevant or Knowledge Exchange activities. With an awareness of the current educational climate, you will value the importance of innovation, and welcome change. You will be an excellent team player and communicator with a track record in the enhancement of student experience or customer care.
