The opportunity

The post holder will assist and support the Residence Manager and the Halls Management Team in the delivery of customer services in the Facilities Managed Halls of Residence. The role holder will be required to travel between the designated halls of residence, other University sites & other the halls of residence throughout London when necessary.  

The Residence Receptionist will be expected to work flexible shifts and to work some weekends between July – September each year, subject to the business needs such as the departures and arrivals processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to deliver excellent customer service to enhance the student experience and to maintain the high quality standard of accommodation on offer in the University's Facilities Managed Halls of Residence.

About you

Required experience:

  • Worked in a previous similar role.
  • Good level of written and spoken English.
  • Good IT / Microsoft package skills.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Polite and courteous.

Working hours: 20 hrs per week. Monday to Friday (4 – 8pm).
