The opportunity
As a member of the University Outreach team, you will lead and manage Outreach programmes, ensuring appropriate levels of support and resources for the effective delivery of each programme. Not everyone has equal opportunity to enter higher education. We want to change this through UAL Insights – these are our projects and programmes which support students as they progress to the next stage of their creative education.
Based within the Outreach team at Central Saint Martin’s, you will be responsible for the academic development, planning, and delivery of Outreach activities. This will include working in partnership with schools, further education colleges, community and cultural organisations, as well as other UAL Outreach teams.
About you
You will have knowledge of effective approaches to widening participation in arts, design and communication in further and higher education, drawing on significant experience of delivering widening participation outreach programmes. You will be able to lead and manage outreach programmes effectively, ensuring quality standards are met and programme goals are achieved.
In addition to your professional skills and experience in outreach, you will also be capable of working collaboratively within a team and where appropriate, across or with different professional groups.
If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact, Sahil Ibrahim, Resourcing Adviser via email at Educationstaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk.

As part of this, you will need to provide a supporting statement/answer some competency questions to demonstrate your suitability. Our recruitment process involves: Application, Shortlisting, Interview and Assessment, Offer, Onboarding.
We understand the benefits of using AI in work. But, if you are thinking of using it to submit an application, we ask you to think about what value it adds. AI tools tend to lack the personal touch and authenticity we value in candidates. We encourage you to showcase your unique knowledge and skills using your own voice.
