The opportunity

If you are an experienced practitioner in the field of fashion business and are excited to inspire students with your knowledge of entrepreneurship in the creative industries, this is an exciting part-time opportunity to teach on the MA Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation course at London College of Fashion.

Covering a period of maternity leave, as the Lecturer in Creative Enterprise, you will take responsibility for teaching, curriculum development, unit management and on-going scholarship of this innovative course. You will work collaboratively within the course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.

This course uses a team coaching approach, underpinned by the team mastery methodology, rather than traditional lecture style. You will be expected to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in the field as well as develop links with business, industry and professional organisations.

About you

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of running their own business and knowledge of entrepreneurship in a creative industry. You’ll bring with you industry experience from fields such as enterprise, innovation, sustainability and an awareness of the latest in digital and technological advancements.

Teaching and/or coaching experience is essential as is a higher degree (e.g. MA) in Business / Fashion / Entrepreneurship or an associated subject.
