The opportunity

The history of University of the Arts London (UAL) is rooted in the vibrant and diverse communities surrounding its campuses. We are committed to bringing a range of educational, cultural and economic benefits to these areas through collaborations and partnerships that continue to make long-lasting impacts. To ensure this continues, we are seeking a Community Engagement Producer who can play a key role coordinating community engagement across Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon.

You’ll undertake a range of varying responsibilities helping to align community engagement with the strategic priorities of our Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon colleges. This will involve:

  • Researching community partners and relevant external agencies for collaborative projects
  • Supporting the development of relationships between external groups and the colleges
  • To support the delivery of collaborative projects linking students with external audiences to provide enrichment opportunities
  • Administering the recruitment, scheduling and payment of mentors and guest speakers for workshops

About you

You’ll need experience of coordinating engagement or community engagement programmes.

You’ll also need experience of office management and administration processes as well as experience with Microsoft products and database management.

Strong organisational and communication skills are equally important, as is an interest in the arts.

Please note, appointment to this role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check as you’ll be supervising and/or working with children.
