The opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Communications Executive who specialises in internal communications, to identify story opportunities and promote university-wide initiatives related to the University’s agenda around social purpose which includes the Climate Action Plan, with the aim of maximising engagement from staff, students and the outside world.

Working in UAL’s central communications team and alongside the Communications Managers (Internal), you will coordinate and deliver integrated and effective communications across the University, telling compelling and engaging stories, which promote UAL to key stakeholders – predominantly staff. 

About you

Having worked in a similar internal communications role, you will have demonstrable experience of generating effective communication messages and campaigns with the ability to write great copy and tell a compelling story. You will be adept at using design technology e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects and creating content in a variety of formats with a good eye for what makes something visually appealing and impactful.

Excellent organisational, planning and project management skills, with the ability to think ahead, prioritise and work flexibly and accurately when under pressure are also required.
