The opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Officer who is passionate about working collaboratively with staff and students to achieve a culture that is fully inclusive for all.
The EDI Officer will work with colleagues in the EDI team as well as stakeholders across University of the Arts London (UAL) to support the promotion and enhancement of our diversity strategies and principles.
The postholder will be responsible for helping to deliver and maintain UAL’s EDI agenda with particular accountability for supporting and facilitating applications made by UAL for the Race Equality Charter and Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.
The EDI Officer will train employees and managers around diversity and equality policies and legislation and support managers to achieve their diversity agendas. They will also implement new diversity and equality strategies to align with changes in legislation to meet objectives in order for UAL to achieve different diversity accreditation.
About you
You must have experience in an EDI position and experience within higher education would be desirable.
