The opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Analyst with expertise in data management to join the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team at UAL.

Ensuring the efficient management of staff data and systems, the EDI Data Analyst will contribute to, and lead on, staff related EDI initiatives, projects and policy work. Your work will be key in ensuring a high-quality experience for staff and supporting our academic staff to deliver a world class education across the University.

You will play a key role in taking responsibility for helping to deliver and maintain the University EDI agenda with particular accountability for sourcing out and analysing data to support the University’s applications for the Race Equality Charter. Other duties will also include working collaboratively with the EDI team in maintaining the EDI webpage and organising EDI events.

About you

Significant experience and skill in the use of Microsoft Excel for the production of reports, charts and graphs, alongside well-developed analytical and writing skills that enable the production of high-quality briefings and reports are also essential. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with a wide range of people at different levels of seniority and possess effective presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to deliver training on understanding data.

The successful candidate should also possess a good understanding of how the Equality Act 2010 works in practice and be committed to ensuring EDI is at the core of working, teaching and learning, so that all members of UAL are empowered to reach their full potential.
