The opportunity

The Senior Business Development Manager will strategically identify, develop and build business relationships for the benefit of enterprise, innovation and knowledge exchange projects across the College, supporting the delivery of the College’s Knowledge Exchange strategy.

The role connects external organisations with LCF student & graduate talent, taking specific responsibility for negotiating and delivering income generating projects that contribute to the student experience and provide career development opportunities for LCF’s graduate & alumni network. The role has annual income targets and KPIs that help demonstrate the College’s impact in its Knowledge Exchange ambitions as well as generating surplus for re-investment in its Social Purpose mission.

About you

You will have experience in developing and delivering successful commercial projects, managing and leading a team to achieve against strategic objectives and KPIs. You will have an understanding of key business trends, issues and challenges facing the fashion industry and be able to identify and translate these into opportunities for business development. You will be highly organised and effective in planning and managing resources, to deliver an excellent service for all stakeholders.
