The opportunity

If you offer significant administration experience with experience of managing complex operations, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role ensuring the effective operation of the School of Performance at the University of the Arts London.

 

This role is pivotal to activity within the School of Performance and as such you’ll provide a professional, customer focused service, supporting the activities of the school, including events, projects and associated administration.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Providing strategic support, advice and guidance to the Deans on school-based projects, events and associated administrative activity

 

  • Developing and overseeing project plans and managing projects

 

  • Producing statistical reports on behalf of the Dean

 

  • Coordinating a range of administrative functions for the school, such as quality control of procedures

 

  • Line management of team members, taking responsibility for recruitment, induction, probation and appraisals

 

The primary location of work will be Wimbledon College of Arts, but there will be a requirement to travel to other Colleges within CCW (Camberwell and Chelsea) to attend meetings as needed. This is an operational role and as such there is the expectation of on-site presence for a minimum of three days a week.

About you

With experience of managing complex operations, processes and projects, you’ll have strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to collectively improve processes and systems.

 

Taking a lead on forward planning, tracking the implementation of school operating plans and other projects, the role will demand effective planning and management, report writing and research skills.
