The opportunity

Based in the Media Lab, you will work as part of a technical team responsible for delivery and maintenance of specialist digital printing, mounting, binding and traditional darkroom processes. You will provide guidance and advice to students and staff working within the Lab area. You will undertake daily preparations for opening and closing the Media Lab facilities as well as the darkrooms, and other resources, ensuring that facilities are maintained in a safe and effective working manner.

About you

Applicants should have experience of media practice (photography or moving image) and some knowledge of associated digital and analogue equipment, such as cameras and lighting. 

Practical media based experience is essential. You should also have experience demonstrating the use of kit and technical processes and trouble shooting technical issues.
