The opportunity

This is an exciting time to join UAL Finance, as we look to strengthen the finance service provided to the Estates department. The UAL Estate is going through a period of change, with this Finance Business Partner role supporting the Estate department during the budgeting / forecasting process. You will have strong communication skills, and be capable of engaging with Senior Budget Holders and Estates Heads of Services to discuss month-end management reports. You will also be a good team player, develop relationships with our network of finance business and troubleshooting any issues in a positive and collaborative manner.

We are a friendly and welcoming team, with varied skills and experiences from multiple different backgrounds. We actively support individual personal and professional development throughout the finance function and would work with the job holder to identify development opportunities within the role.

About you

This is an ideal opportunity to join a business partnering team with a wide range of experience.

You will be a qualified finance professional, and will have a history of business partnering senior stakeholders within a large organisation. Your knowledge will include supporting the Estates department with year-end activities, such as maintaining a fixed asset schedule, posting accruals / prepayments at year-end, providing month-end commentary on variance analysis.

In return, University of the Arts London offers generous leave, pension and a commitment to your continuing personal development and training in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and diversity.
