The opportunity

We are seeking experienced administrators to join our Academic Registry team to provide administrative and customer service support to a portfolio of courses. If you are looking for the next step in your career this is an exciting opportunity to join us.

Academic Registry’s work covers a variety of key services across UAL’s six colleges to support students and academic teams. We are seeking to recruit to vacancies within our college based Programme Support team .

We currently have vacancies at our Camberwell, Chelsea, and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts and at Central Saint Martins . However, we are always on the lookout for talented individuals to join our team, and if any additional Programme Administrator roles arise at our other colleges during this recruitment cycle, we will also consider you for those too.

The roles
As a Programme Administrator you’re at your happiest when you’re juggling priorities and making things happen. As one of our Academic Registry team, you will put all of this to good use as you provide professional administrative support to our courses.

The roles are busy and varied and include everything from collating course-related documentation, to committee servicing, coordinating and supporting External Examiners, recording student work submissions, attendance monitoring, organising seminars and workshops, and supporting enrolment.

About you

We value the diversity of experience our staff bring with them. Whilst experience of working in a Higher Education setting will be helpful, we positively welcome front line administrative experience from across a range of sectors. Key to this role will be your effective written and oral communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise work and achieve outcomes, and your collaborative approach. Successful candidates will also be confident in the use of Microsoft applications. If you meet these requirements, the opportunities open to you at UAL are hard to beat.

Please note we will be running a live webinar soon. To register please contact StudentFirst@arts.ac.uk as this is a great opportunity to find out more about working at UAL  roles.

Closing date:  19th June (midday)

We encourage early applications as interviews will be held prior to the advertised closing date. Interviews will be scheduled from weeks commencing

If you have any queries about this role, please contact Leila Farrance at PSOstaffrecruitment@arts.ac.uk

Our students, staff and graduates form a global network of creatives, entrepreneurs and leaders. Together, our ideas change the world. Because the world needs creativity.

We are ranked highly across the board. We are ranked first for specialist art and design, second in the world for Art and Design in the 2023 QS World University Rankings (for the fifth year in a row), ranked fifth in sustainability and two of our colleges were rated in the top three fashion schools in the world.
