The opportunity

UAL is looking for a Business Support Coordinator (Learning and Digital) to join the diverse and talented Culture hub within HR. This is an exciting time to be joining UAL; we have launched a new 10-year strategy, we are investing in our people, and we are setting challenging goals. Anti-racism, Inclusion, Social Purpose are core UAL priorities and the Culture hub will be focused on these areas to support staff and students to reach their full potential.

The Business Support Coordinator (Learning and Digital) role will support the Staff Development (SD) team with the organisation, planning and administration of learning and development events and activities, as well as providing excellent administrative and management support to the wider Human Resources department.

Your SD responsibilities will involve being the first point of contact for queries via our staff development mailbox, administering both in-person and online learning events, and financial administration including invoicing.

About you

To succeed in this role you will pride yourself on delivering high-quality, supportive customer service to multiple stakeholders across different professional levels. You will be able to manage multiple strands of work at any one time and be able to prioritise these frequently depending on customer and business needs.

You will be comfortable in delivering administrative support across different areas such as information systems, project support, correspondence, data management and logistical administration.

The role is very much customer facing, so relationship-building is crucial, as well as understanding the nature of fast-paced working environments.

Previous experience or an interest in Staff Development, particularly in higher education or creative education, would be an advantage.
