The opportunity

We are seeking an original and holistic thinker and world-leading researcher to join our globally recognised change-making Centre for Sustainable Fashion team. Based at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts, London, this academic leadership opportunity will make a distinctive and significant contribution to research in ecological, social, cultural, and economic wellbeing, applicable to fashion. You will work directly with the centre director, its research team, LCF Deans and UAL researchers and with diverse partnerships, in contributing to UAL’s social purpose. 

You will have the opportunity to join a vibrant team and to work with experienced and early career researchers. Your strong theoretical background and excellent writing track record will complement the expertise across the centre.

About you

We are looking for an experienced and high profile researcher with a portfolio in or applicable to sustainability and fashion, relating to systems thinking, regenerative practices, the wellbeing economy, environmental and social justice. 

With a wealth of internationally excellent research outputs and a record of high value bid experience and cross cultural, cross sector collaborations, you will support UAL’s strategic research objectives strengthening the research reputation of the centre to develop fashion’s role, expanding the knowledges on which it is based.
