The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator in creative Fashion Pattern-Cutting and Design to contribute to shaping BA Womenswear Design teaching at London College of Fashion as part of the BA Womenswear Team.

Fashion at London College of Fashion thrives within a unique specialist and progressive environment embracing and leading change in approaches to fashion. In this role, you will bring consistent high-quality teaching and assessment to the course and be part of a team who are innovating in the area of Contemporary and Climate Aware Fashion Design.

The post holder will be required to deliver lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials both in person and online.  In addition, being able to provide constructive guidance and feedback on student progress and feed into careers guidance. Key to this post will be the ability to actively contribute to the organisation and management of the course and student experience.

About you

A degree in a relevant subject is essential together with a teaching qualification and experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment.   

Evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice – based experience.

Demonstrate expert industry knowledge.
