The opportunity
University of the Arts London is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Global Cultures to join their team at London College of Fashion on a permanent basis. As Lecturer in Fashion Marketing and Global Cultures, you will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the MA Fashion Marketing and Global Cultures course. You will work collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions, and will expand the capacity of the course to ensure continued relevance to industry and academic rigor. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop the insights of future business and marketing leaders of the worldwide fashion industry and to support greater awareness of the distinctive connections between fashion, marketing, and culture. This course is part of the Marketing and Branding Programme in the Fashion Business School at London College of Fashion.
About you
You will possess a strong academic background with an undergraduate degree in Marketing/Fashion Marketing or an associated subject. You will also need to be a qualified teacher/lecturer with experience in a higher education environment.
Additional expertise and experience in marketing and global cultures relating to fashion is essential. Ideally, you will also have extensive experience in working in fashion management, brand management or extensive experience as an educator in Fashion Management/ Marketing/Brand Management, teaching at Level 6/final year or Level 7.
