The opportunity
The Lecturer in Fashion Marketing & Sustainability is responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the MA Fashion Marketing and Sustainability course. This course is part of the Marketing and Branding Programme in the Fashion Business School at London College of Fashion. The post-holder will work collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.
You will undertake a teaching programme that provides academic and pastoral support to students, exploring and examining fashion marketing strategy and operations, internationalisation, brand management and consumer insights, with a focus on innovative sustainable practice and disruption within fashion business.
Your wider remit will also cover unit management, supporting course leaders in the planning and development of the curriculum and contributing to research in fashion retail, marketing and branding. The role will also include teaching across the Fashion Business School portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
About you
You will need to be a qualified teacher/lecturer with experience in a higher education environment.
Expertise and experience in marketing and sustainability related to fashion is essential. Ideally you will also have extensive experience in working in fashion management, brand management or extensive experience as an educator in Fashion management/ Marketing/Brand management teaching at Level 6 / final year or Level 7.
