The opportunity

The purpose of this role is to develop, produce and deliver a range of content, including film, audio, graphic, moving image, print and experiential, across London College of Communication’s digital and physical environments. Content created as part of this role will engage our communities, raise the profile of the College, further develop our brand and enhance our strong global reputation.

This is an established role as part of a dynamic team. The Content Producer will support LCC’s Content Manager, working from concept through to delivery and beyond – they will be responsible for developing, producing, publishing and promoting authentic and compelling creative content.

In addition to a highly creative practice and approach, this role requires someone who can both manage the creative processes of content production, and lead the design and implementation of comprehensive publishing plans and promotional campaigns. The Content Producer should take a holistic approach to content, with a considered and strategic understanding of our many audiences and how best to serve them.

Collaboration is key to this role – from commissioning external creatives, through to working with our in-house Content Team. Candidates should have experience of briefing and working with creatives from various disciplines, particularly film, graphic design, photography and social media.

About you

The ideal candidate will have experience of working across a range of creative disciplines – from film and graphic design to podcasts and photography. You should have demonstrable experience of leading complex projects against multiple deadlines, as well as the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.

In this role you will manage both direct-reports and a range of freelance producers – from filmmakers and photographer to production studios and design agencies. You should be comfortable producing content with variable scopes and budgets, managing larger crews and shoots, but also taking a hands-on approach and creating content independently when required.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of project management and technical skills in film, photography and graphic design – with excellent written and verbal communication.

If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Lesley Wilkins, Resourcing Adviser, lcc.jobs@lcc.arts.ac.uk or telephone: 020 7514 7985
