The opportunity

The Digital Content and Communications Coordinator will work closely with and support the Marketing and Communications Manager in delivering a successful content marketing strategy focused on driving engagement and brand awareness.

UAL Short Courses Ltd (UALSC is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of the Arts London, offering non-accredited short course education and training for children and adults. UALSC offers learning to over 120,00 students per year, with targets to grow by 50% in the coming years across our online and onsite delivery.

Working directly with the Marketing and Communications Manager/s and wider team, you will drive the planning and execution of digital content marketing, using audience insights to continually develop new and engaging ways to connect with current and prospective students as well as raise brand awareness through content. 

About you

You will be interested in marketing and creative industries and have a passion for editorial and digital content creation. 

With excellent oral and written communication skills, you will be able to liaise effectively with your team and colleagues, and also to build and maintain positive relationships while sharing best practice with colleagues in other short course teams and throughout UAL. In addition, you should have an interest in further education in Art & Design subjects and more broadly the Creative Industries.

UAL Short Courses (UALSC) is part of the University’s department of Academic Enterprise which leads the University of the Arts London’s commercial educational operations. There are 100 staff and 1,500 hourly paid staff in Academic Enterprise, which is integral to the University’s long-term development.

Its mission is to increase the amount of income generated by the University from non-core teaching and research activities. It includes several successful existing business operations including UAL Short Courses Ltd, AE International (English Language preparation and Study Abroad) as well as UALAT.
