The opportunity

Are you an experienced lecturer (or similar HE teaching role) with specialist knowledge in business, fashion, design, media or communication? If so this post offers an exciting opportunity to expand your academic career, playing a leading role in promoting London College of Fashion and ensuring the College has a high quality overseas application process, whilst also contributing to teaching within an area of your specialism.

As an International Student Recruitment Coordinator (Academic) you will process applications from international markets. This will involve reviewing, interviewing and making decisions on these applications, ensuring high levels of customer service for our applicants and that appropriate decisions are made for the applicant and our courses.

Further, you will promote LCF and the other UAL colleges on an international basis. This will include attendance at recruitment fairs, school visits, advisory sessions, workshops and more. This activity will be delivered online and in-person and so may include a small amount of international travel.

About you

You will bring to the role a specialist practical and theoretical knowledge in one or more aspects of business, fashion, design, media or communication and the ability to apply knowledge across disciplines to make secure recruitment and admissions decisions. The ability to collaborate and work effectively with different teams and professional groups, working respectfully with a wide range of people, and fostering inclusive and constructive teamwork and problem-solving is equally important. Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity will complete your profile.
