Enterprise Consultant

The opportunity

This is an opportunity to play a key role in helping the next generation of creative entrepreneurs from London College of Fashion (LCF) to build the confidence, commercial understanding and connections they need to turn their ideas into viable businesses.

As Enterprise Consultant, you will join the Fashion Business School and support students and recent graduates as they take their first steps into entrepreneurship. Working as part of the College’s enterprise team, you will help current students and graduates explore ideas, test their potential and develop them into validated concepts, products, services and sustainable new ventures.

Building strong external relationships will be an important part of the role. You will identify and engage alumni, industry collaborators and other partners who can contribute to the student enterprise experience, while continually looking for new opportunities and keeping abreast of developments within the sector. 

Alongside programme delivery, you will contribute to the effective promotion and evaluation of enterprise activity. This includes developing student-facing promotional content, keeping internal and external channels up to date and maintaining accurate reporting and monitoring information for relevant University and sector reporting requirements. 

Your profile

You will bring experience from a similar role supporting enterprise activity for students, startups or SMEs, together with a strong understanding of what it takes to start and grow a business. You will be confident translating that knowledge into engaging, accessible content and practical support for people at different stages of developing an idea.

An effective communicator and collaborative colleague, you will be comfortable building relationships with students, graduates, academics and industry contacts. You will be organised, able to prioritise competing demands and confident using initiative and creativity to solve problems and develop new approaches.
