The opportunity

We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious academic practitioner/designer to share the leadership of Stage One BA Fashion. You will build on the international reputation of BA Fashion at CSM and play a key role in leading the development of undergraduate study of fashion design. The Joint Stage One Leader will maintain and develop professional, academic and research partnerships to ensure the course anticipates the changing needs of the global fashion industry and wider society.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with both industry experience and experience of teaching and leadership in Higher Education. The successful applicant will have an Undergraduate degree (essential) and a Masters in a relevant subject area. This is a shared leadership role and you will be expected to collaborate with the other Joint One Stage leaders and contribute to the structuring of the year. You will demonstrate evidence of research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice that contributes to innovation in the field of fashion design and will show evidence of using contacts within your subject peer group to develop partnerships or collaboration.
