The opportunity
Are you an experienced photographic practitioner with expertise in artists’ moving image, who would like to share your insights on practice, and pathways to success, with the next generation of creatives?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Photography Programme at London College of Communication. Teaching on BA (Hons) Photography you will help to develop and deliver a course with a focus on research informed, experimental approaches to contemporary photographic practices.
In this role you’ll develop your own research and/or scholarship, and work collaboratively with the Programme team to extend the level of subject expertise and critical understanding of experimental photographic practices.
If you enjoy working as part of a team, working in a busy and dynamic environment and want to see students succeed, we would love for you to join our team.
Your profile
You will have experience as a contemporary photographic practitioner creating artists’ moving image, with an interest in, and knowledge of, how photographers use computational imaging such as CGI, Photogrammetry and AI.
You will be a passionate educator with experience of developing and delivering innovative teaching within higher education, with specific experience of teaching moving image, including image capture, sound and editing. You will be committed to embedding the UAL principles of climate, racial and social justice in your teaching practice.
You will be a collaborative colleague with the desire and skills to work effectively alongside the course and programme team, to create meaningful change in the way we educate students.
