The opportunity
Are you an experienced administrator with strong organisational skills and a desire to develop your career within a world-leading creative institution? London College of Fashion is seeking a skilled Personal Assistant to play a key role providing support to the Dean of the Fashion Business School.
In this role, you will provide a confidential and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the Dean, supporting the effective management of the School Office. You will play a key role in managing the Dean’s diary, coordinating meetings, events and activities, and ensuring the Dean's time is used effectively and priorities are appropriately managed. Working closely with the Dean, you will help plan workloads, monitor deadlines and prompt action where needed, as well as organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and track follow-up actions.
You will act as a key point of contact for the School, communicating with external agencies, fashion industry professionals, academics, staff and students, while also welcoming visitors on behalf of the Dean and Senior Staff team. Alongside this, you will contribute to the smooth operational running of the Fashion Business School office, maintaining an effective on-site presence to support enquiries, manage room bookings, provide refreshments and ensure the timely distribution of documents.
The role also includes providing organisational support to the School’s Senior Leadership Team.
Your profile

You will have strong experience in diary management, committee servicing, minute taking, report writing and preparing presentations, along with excellent IT skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills are essential, as is the ability to deliver a responsive and positive service to both students and staff. A high level of professionalism and discretion is essential, particularly when dealing with confidential matters and sensitive information.
