The opportunity

University of the Arts London (UAL) is looking for an experienced administrator with a passion for student support to join our Accommodation Service team. This is a vital and rewarding role at the heart of the student experience, providing professional, friendly and responsive support to both current and prospective students.
Our Accommodation Services team provides a wide range of support to students, including managing applications and contracts for halls of residence, overseeing rent collection, offering advice on student housing and private renting, and arranging temporary summer accommodation. You will play a vital role in ensuring these services run smoothly by assisting the team with day-to-day administration. From updating rotas and templates, to maintaining systems, processes and management information, you will help ensure our services remain organised, efficient and effective.
Customer service sits at the heart of this role, involving regular contact with students, staff, and external stakeholders through email, phone, social media, online messaging, and in-person interactions.

You will need strong IT skills, familiarity with Excel, Outlook and the wider Microsoft Office suite, and confidence in using social media platforms. Preferably you are also experienced in using software such as Kinetic, Flywire, WPM and SITS.  If you do hold Accommodation Services software experience please ensure you elaborate on this in your application.
