The opportunity

We are looking for a Resourcing Assistant to join our friendly and collaborative Resourcing Team. You will be at the heart of keeping our recruitment running smoothly – supporting candidates and hiring managers from first enquiry right through to their first day. Your organisation, communication and problem-solving skills will help ensure every experience feels seamless and professional.

You will also play a key part in supporting our valued Hourly Paid Lecturers and Support colleagues, helping with re-engagements, claims and contracts. It is admin with purpose – you will be directly contributing to how we deliver teaching, learning and support across the organisation.

From preparing interview packs and managing inbox queries to coordinating onboarding and working across systems like Oleeo, iTrent and HPS, you will be the person who keeps things moving and makes sure every detail is right.

You will join a team that is dynamic, inclusive and genuinely supportive. We take pride in doing things well and celebrate each other’s successes. Many of our previous team members have gone on to progress into Resourcing and HR Advisor roles, so this is a great next step if you are looking to grow your career in people and talent.

If you are ready to make a difference, we would love to hear from you but don’t wait too long to apply as we may close this campaign early if applications come flooding in (and we suspect they might).

Your profile

You are someone who enjoys being part of a busy, people-focused team and takes pride in keeping things organised and running smoothly.

You might already have experience in recruitment or HR administration, or you may be ready to take your first step into this area. Either way, you are confident with systems, quick to learn new processes and able to stay calm and focused when juggling deadlines.

You communicate clearly, pay attention to detail and care about giving candidates and colleagues a great experience.

Bring your can-do attitude, curiosity and eye for detail and we will help you build a rewarding career.

Application process

We operate a fair and open anonymous selection process. Thus, you will need to create an account and submit an application through our job board. As part of this, you will need to provide a supporting statement/answer some competency questions to demonstrate your suitability. Our recruitment process involves: Application, Shortlisting, Interview and Assessment, Offer, Onboarding.

We understand the benefits of using AI in work. But, if you are thinking of using it to submit an application, we ask you to think about what value it adds. AI tools tend to lack the personal touch and authenticity we value in candidates. We encourage you to showcase your unique knowledge and skills using your own voice.

If we receive a high volume of applications, the closing day date might close early. We aim to communicate any changes to the closing date with at least 24 hours’ notice. If you have any general questions or have accessibility needs, please refer to our Contact us page.

Candidates are advised to submit applications early.
