The opportunity
The Research Centres and Hubs Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support for all research centre and hubs, lab, and network activities at London College of Fashion (LCF), working directly with the Directors of the college's research centres including the Centre for Fashion Curation, The Centre for Sustainable Fashion, and the Centre for Fashion Business Research, and the RKE hub, lab, and network leads. This role ensures the smooth operation of centre activities while supporting strategic initiatives, research grant processes, financial monitoring procedures, and daily administrative and coordination requirements across all focussed RKE activities.
The position encompasses a dual function: delivering targeted administrative support to individual centres while serving as a liaison role that maintains cross-centre data coordination and supports research and knowledge exchange process compliance activities between the centres and university requirements. The role also provides administrative support for the hubs, labs, and networks, external partnerships, internal and external events, and the cultural programming of research and knowledge exchange activities.
As a key member of LCF's Research and Knowledge Exchange (RKE) department administrative team, the post-holder will work collaboratively with colleagues, providing mutual support and covering duties as required. The role demands confident liaison with senior colleagues and the ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups, requiring strong organisational skills and adaptability in a dynamic research environment.
