Are you passionate about supporting students at they study, fostering a collaborative educational environment where every student can succeed? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join Central Saint Martins’ College Education team as Head of Academic Support (0.6). This role is responsible for ensuring excellent levels of support for all students at Central Saint Martins.
Committed to enabling all students to become confident independent learners you will lead and coordinate a programme of support for students’ learning and assessment at Central Saint Martins. Used to working collaboratively, you will enhance student experience, contributing to high levels of student retention, continuation and attainment as well as student satisfaction You will bring learning development expertise to academic developments in the College, with a commitment to inclusive pedagogic practice and an understanding of creative education.

This role forms the second part of a jobshare partnership, and we welcome applicants who value collaborative and flexible working.
Your profile
You will bring a strong background in Higher Education with a deep commitment to learning development and study skills for students, and an understanding of the needs of students in creative education. Your knowledge of effective approaches to supporting students in their teaching, learning and assessment will be matched by your ability to lead and manage a cross-college Academic Support team, working in collaboration with other Heads of Academic Support at UAL. You will be adept at planning service delivery, managing resources and solving problems with creativity and resilience. Above all, you will be committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student feels welcomed and supported.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to the college to meet the hiring manager and other members of the community, and to have a tour of the college, on Monday 9 March 2026. Interviews will take place online (via Microsoft Teams) on Friday 13 March 2026.
