The opportunity
London College of Communication (LCC) is seeking a customer focused, personable and highly organised individual to provide a fully functional reception and support service for the College’s Information Centre.
As the Information Centre Advisor, you will act as the first point of contact in providing front-line assistance and comprehensive support to external visitors, current students, and members of academic, technical, professional, and administrative staff. The role is busy and varied and your excellent organisational skills will be key as you assist in the planning and delivery of events, manage diaries and hospitality requests, training ambassadors and supporting evening and weekend events. You will also plan and lead tours of the College for prospective students and new staff and will work closely with the Information Centre Manager on strategic developments and projects.
This role also involves you taking responsibility for maintaining and developing the Centre’s visual content, so a knowledge of Adobe CC suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and visual design and communication skills (layout, colour theory, typography, photography) would be desirable.
Your profile
The successful candidate will possess experience of working in a frontline, customer focused role gained in a HE / FE environment. Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and of assisting in the support and delivery of events is also required.
If you are committed to providing excellent customer service and can use your strong interpersonal skills to develop highly effective working relationships and a positive culture of collaboration, we would love to hear from you.
If you have any queries about this role or need any reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Lesley Wilkins, Senior Resourcing Adviser, lcc.jobs@lcc.arts.ac.uk
