The opportunity

We’re looking for a Generative AI Developer to join the Fashion Innovation Agency (FIA) at London College of Fashion, where you’ll help bridge cutting-edge AI technology and fashion innovation. In this role, you’ll develop and optimise generative AI pipelines for fashion applications and outputs, including textile design, virtual try-on, style-consistent asset creation and 3D asset generation.
You’ll explore emerging AI research, fine-tune open-source models for creative briefs, and integrate outputs with digital platforms such as Blender and CLO3D. Working closely with designers, technologists, and researchers, you’ll play a key role in driving FIA’s commercial collaborations, grant-funded projects, and digital transformation strategy, advancing our reputation as a global leader in fashion-tech innovation.

Your profile

You’ll bring strong expertise in generative AI tools and techniques. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow are essential, along with an ability to fine-tune models and manage datasets for creative applications. Experience integrating AI outputs with 3D or digital design platforms would be a real advantage. We’re looking for someone who is curious, innovative, and detail-oriented, able to balance technical rigour with creative exploration, communicate ideas clearly to non-technical collaborators, and thrive as part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team pushing the boundaries of fashion and technology.
