The opportunity

We are please to offer the opportunity to join Central Saint Martin's as the Global Experience Administrator. This role is the central point of contact for all incoming and outgoing exchange students at Central Saint Martins. The post-holder will provide essential administration to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of global experiences and exchange programmes, as well as supporting non-traditional and virtual student mobility.
The role is key to providing students with a high level of support at every stage of an exchange and has a strong focus on enhancing student experience.
This job is offered on a fixed-term basis and will be eligible for a secondment (only applies to internal staff). Please ensure you discuss the opportunity with your current line manager in advance of submitting your application.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who either has an existing knowledge of international higher education or who is keen learn about international mobility. They would be willing to develop an understanding of how an exchange can enhance a student’s academic experience, personal development and employment outcomes, and use this knowledge to promote opportunities to students at CSM. The ideal candidate would be adaptable and capable of thinking on their feet. They will need excellent communication and problem-solving skills in what can be a fast-paced environment, as well as plenty of initiative. You must be able to self-motivate and generate ideas for a high-quality service. A strong level of administrative command is required for this role, to complete important, detail-oriented tasks on time. An ability to organise and prioritise daily tasks while also supporting students’ needs is also key. As there is a pastoral element to this role, you will be confident in signposting students to relevant services, using your ability to network with colleagues at UAL. You will need to hold a high level of cultural awareness, enjoy working with a variety of people from different backgrounds and be able to share your enthusiasm for student exchange programmes with a range of different audiences.
