Digital & Technology at UAL is on an exciting journey, transitioning from a ‘classic’ IT approach to a user-centred product approach to technology. We are investing in our people, and the processes enabled by digital, to evolve and transform the student and staff experience at UAL.
As an Integration Developer, you’ll be a key part of our Digital & Technology team at University of the Arts London, helping to build the digital foundations that connect our systems and services.
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining integrations using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring data flows securely and efficiently across our systems. Working closely with architects, analysts, and product teams, you’ll help deliver high-quality, scalable APIs that support our strategic goals and improve the experience for our staff and students.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and wants to make a real impact in a creative, forward-thinking environment.
Your profile
Experience -
- Strong knowledge and experience in integration development, with a specific focus on MuleSoft Anypoint platform.
- Strong knowledge of API development, integration patterns, and data transformation using DataWeave.
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript; experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with enterprise systems integration (e.g. Salesforce, Moodle) and protocols (REST, SOAP, JMS).
- Understanding of API security standards (OAuth 2.0, SAML, encryption).
