The opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced education developer to lead UAL’s popular postgraduate PgCert and MA Creative Education courses.
We’re looking for an academic leader with excellent Higher Education studies knowledge and experience of leading Advance HE accredited courses. If that’s you and you share our commitment to inclusive learning, teaching and assessment, and are excited by the prospect of working with the next generation of arts educators at UAL, we would encourage you to apply.
As Course Leader for Creative Education (currently named ‘Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication’ but being revalidated), you will assume responsibility for the academic leadership and management of UAL’s professional development courses, working closely with the Unit Leaders and Lecturers to support course organisation and management and the student experience. You will take responsibility for the development and delivery of the curriculum.
The role requires that you lead the day-to-day management of the courses, including all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students, whilst observing and implementing the policies and procedures of the University and the Learning and Teaching Directorate.
The post is based between High Holborn, and across UAL sites.
