The opportunity
We are seeking a Digital Media Production specialist to contribute to the delivery of the BA (Hons) Immersive Media and Mixed Reality course at London College of Communication.
Your main responsibility will be preparation, teaching, administration and assessment of a unit or part of a unit. You will make a significant contribution to the quality of teaching and support students receive, helping them to successfully complete their studies and develop as creative practitioners.
Working closely with the Programme Director, Course Leader, and wider academic team, you will bring specialist expertise in immersive media content creation and production, with particular strengths in video production, 360-degree content creation and editing, and interactive experience design.
You should demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following:
- Strong foundation in Art (traditional and digital)
- Digital Media Production
- Video Production and Editing (including 360-degree)
- 3D Animation
- 3D Asset/Prop Creation
- Game Engines
- Interactive and immersive media industry pipelines
- Animation Principles
Desirable Software Skills include:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- TouchDesigner (Derivative)

Your profile
You will hold an undergraduate degree in a subject relevant to digital media production. A postgraduate degree in a relevant area, or equivalent professional experience, is desirable.
You will bring expert knowledge and professional experience of creating interactive and immersive experiences.
You will ideally have teaching experience in Higher Education, or demonstrate a strong interest in developing your teaching practice at this level.
You will have an awareness of the global social, cultural, environmental, political, and economic issues that are transforming contemporary moving image and immersive media practices.
