The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Lecturer to join our Graduate Diploma in Fashion Design Technology course team at London College of Fashion (LCF).
Based in the School of Design and Technology, this dynamic and innovative course provides students with the opportunity to explore contemporary fashion design and interdisciplinary practices through experimentation, critical enquiry and creative development, preparing them for postgraduate study or future employment in the industry.
As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering seminars and workshops that support students in conceptualising and realising innovative ideas. You will provide ongoing tutorial support, constructive feedback and academic guidance, while also contributing to the organisation and management of the course to ensure a high-quality student experience.
A central part of your role will involve offering pastoral support, monitoring progress and attendance, and working closely with colleagues to help students thrive during their time at LCF.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a course that values experimentation and innovation, equipping the next generation of designers with the relevant skills, expertise and experience to make meaningful contributions to the future of fashion.
Your profile
We are looking for a skilled academic practitioner with an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area, along with substantial teaching experience.
You will also bring strong communication and organisational skills, a collaborative approach to your work, and the ability to apply creative and inclusive methods to your teaching and professional practice.
