The opportunity

If you offer excellent administrative and project coordination skills and a proactive approach, then University of the Arts London (UAL) has an exciting opportunity for you. Join us as Building Operations Team Coordinator at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon, and play a key role in the smooth running of our buildings.

The Building Operations team delivers a range of services for Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon, including front of house service, building information resources, space planning and shared space management, and delivering a portfolio of projects in collaboration with Estates to improve spaces through refurbishment, use changes, and new furniture and equipment.

Delivering this across four complex sites requires excellent organisation, continuous planning and dynamic resource allocation across the team.

As the Team Coordinator, you will be integral to keeping our team organised, collaborative, and coherent. Working with the team’s managers, they will develop our Project Management Office approach to managing our portfolio of projects, ensuring consistency and keeping associated project management documentation on track.

You will support the administration of the team, including diary support, staff development, organising and clerking Building User Groups, team and project meetings.

This role is across all the CCW sites, and you may be called upon to work at any of the four sites. The role is available for hybrid working, in discussion with the line manager.

Your profile

We are looking for somebody with demonstrable experience supporting projects and administrative activities in a busy and complex team. You will have excellent administrative skills, using systems to optimise project governance and maintain accurate records. You will be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities, organise your workload to achieve objectives in a timely manner and will work on your own initiative.

You will be highly organised and able to demonstrate an excellent ability to plan and communicate well. In addition, you will be confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders.

Previous experience of working within a front-facing, busy office environment is essential, together with a good knowledge of IT software packages and administrative processes. Experience working within a Higher Education institution would be advantageous but not essential.

Should you have any questions about the role, please contact Siri Clark / s.clark@arts.ac.uk.

Should you have any questions about the application process or require reasonable adjustments for your application, please contact Christine Crouch / jobs.ccw@arts.ac.uk.
