The opportunity
We are looking for four strategic leaders who thrive on turning data into insight and insight into impact. Opportunities are available at Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon (CCW), Central Saint Martins (CSM), London College of Communication (LCC) and London College of Fashion (LCF).
As Head of College Portfolio Development, you will support the development of academic programmes and future-facing initiatives that reflect UAL’s commitment to creative excellence, social purpose and climate action. This role sits at the heart of the College’s academic strategy, providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders as they shape the course portfolio of tomorrow.
Working closely with Schools and central teams, you will be a trusted source of business intelligence and creative solutions, ensuring the College’s offer remains both academically rigorous and commercially viable.
You will also have a leading role in the College’s response to UAL’s Climate Action Plan, Anti Racism Strategy and Social Purpose objectives, ensuring that new education initiatives and curriculum-based developments align with these commitments.
If you are passionate about the future of education and want to influence real change in a world-leading creative institution, this could be the opportunity for you.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a strong background in research, evaluation and strategic planning. You should have experience producing market analysis and data-driven reports that inform academic or sector-wide decision-making. An undergraduate degree is essential, and experience working with subject or professional bodies in the creative sector would be valuable.
You will be a confident communicator who can tailor messages for a range of audiences and build relationships across academic, professional and external stakeholder groups. Your ability to lead through influence and foster collaboration will be key to your success.
Experience managing projects and motivating teams would be a bonus, but most important is your ability to think creatively, act purposefully and drive measurable change.
