The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Lecturer to run Stage 1 (Year 1) of the MA Fashion course. In this pivotal role, you will provide academic leadership for first-year students and ensure the highest standards of postgraduate teaching. You will foster a supportive and forward-thinking learning environment where ideas and talent thrive. You will also play a key role in building strong professional and academic partnerships, ensuring the MA Fashion course remains at the forefront and responds to the ever-changing landscape of the global fashion industry across commerce, culture, and society.Your profile
As an experienced lecturer and academic, you are recognised as a leading authority in your field of specialisation. You will bring an in-depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship between fashion education and the fashion industry. Highly motivated and student-focused, you excel at guiding diverse cohorts in exploring fashion design as a discipline, helping them unlock their full potential and develop innovative approaches to practice and research.
You have excellent communication skills and are confident in using digital media to enhance learning and engagement. You can lead and work as part of a team, sharing knowledge and fostering a creative, supportive academic environment for both colleagues and students.
