The opportunity
Working in University of the Arts London’s (UAL) communications team, you will engage our staff community of over 6,000 colleagues across 6 Colleges and 4 Institutes to champion the value of creativity and deliver UAL’s ten-year strategy.
You will coordinate and deliver integrated communications about UAL’s internal and strategic activities across key channels, identifying story opportunities and supporting strategic change, delivering communication plans that connect our communities to the University and celebrate the successes of our staff and students.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, and partner with key teams across UAL, including Digital and Technology, and Estates, presenting technical information in a digestible and accessible way to staff.
You will also contribute to the running of leadership engagement activities such as Vice-Chancellor briefings, using these opportunities to listen and respond to staff feedback and involve the staff voice in our communications.
Your expertise will be instrumental in fostering a culture of transparent, informative and inclusive communications, enabling our colleagues to understand the University’s direction and how their own work contributes to UAL’s success.
Your profile
We’re looking for a creative and collaborative communicator with experience delivering impactful internal communications in complex settings.
You’ll bring strong writing and planning skills, a keen eye for accessibility and inclusivity, and confidence using digital content management systems and newsletter and intranet platforms.
If you’re someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and creating great content, we’d love to hear from you.
