We seek expressions of interest from suitably qualified PCID staff to act as PCID Programme Director. This is a Grade 7, full-time role that offers an opportunity to lead and support the academic and operational aspects of PCID. You will be responsible for the academic leadership and management of the Programme courses, including the maintenance and enhancement of standards and responsibility for the design, development and delivery of the curriculum. You will lead on the day-to-day management of the Programme including all areas of learning, teaching and assessment of students as well as resource management.  In addition, you will undertake observation and implementation of the policies and procedures of the University and the College. 

Your profile

You’ll bring deep subject expertise and disciplinary knowledge relevant to PCID subjects, along with a strong profile in either research, professional practice or pedagogy. You are a persuasive communicator who engages confidently with a wide range of audiences and fosters an inclusive environment.

As a strategic leader, you will be experienced in managing academic teams and cross-institutional collaboration, leading innovation in curriculum, teaching and assessment. You will have a proven ability to plan and deliver complex projects, motivate staff, and support the development of a diverse learning community.
