This is an opportunity for an experienced marketing and communications professional to play a key role covering a period of maternity leave for 12 months, supporting the development of an exciting marketing and communications strategy that empowers and inspires teachers and students to reach their potential.
This role is based in UAL Awarding Body. We are a department of University of the Arts London (UAL) that designs and awards creative qualifications for students at schools and colleges across the UK and internationally. We also support teachers and students with a lively programme of training, events, and visits.
As Marketing and Communications Officer, you will promote the UAL Awarding Body brand through contributing to marketing plans, implementing campaigns, and creating print and digital collateral. This will involve the design, proofing, production and distribution of a range of marketing collateral including qualification specifications, promotional leaflets and other UAL Awarding Body promotional material.
You will also need to update and work to improve the content and user experience (UX) of UAL Awarding Body’s website, using the content management system and maintain the UAL Awarding Body social media channels, creating content and growing engagement.
Your profile
The ability to produce clear, concise and on brand communications, visuals, and other collateral is essential.
You will also need to be able to produce and curate content for different audiences, including for print and digital platforms, to promote engagement and interest.
Experience of using appropriate campaign and content software such as marketing analytics, content management systems or customer relationship platforms is essential.
