The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role driving sales for course bookings and providing excellent customer service to prospective students on behalf of UAL Short Courses.


You will be a member of the Customer Experience and Sales team, who are responsible for the sales and administration of booking students on to various short courses. The team’s remit includes enquiry management, course cancellation notifications, transfers/refund processing, and the administration of specialist short course programmes.


You will act as the primary point of contact for all short course enquiries and bookings from our international agents and representations, responding effectively to all enquiries and bookings via the telephone, online, and in person, and convert these enquiries into bookings.


This role is also responsible for enquiry management and converting bookings from corporate clients, such as customised and bespoke corporate training.


You will need to be able to guide agents, students and corporate clients in their choice of course or training solutions through providing clear, factual and relevant information to give them confidence in booking courses with UAL Short Courses.


Your profile

You will need experience of international student recruitment in a commercial setting or Higher Education, including experience of working with a wide range of people and stakeholders.


You will also need experience of working in both a B2B and B2C environment.


The ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing is essential, as is the ability to manage resources effectively, work independently with attention to detail and build and maintain positive relationships with students/customers.


Experience of working with student records systems and/or finance systems would be desirable.
