The opportunity

The Lecturer in Womenswear Design is responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology: Womenswear. This course is part of the Fashion Programme at London College of Fashion. The post-holder will work collaboratively within a course team, deploying specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions.

Your profile

  • Plan, design and deliver design teaching and related administration, within BA (Hons) FDT Womenswear course.
  • Work closely with the BA Womenswear Course Team to ensure excellence in student experience.
  • Contribute to the management of student pastoral care.
  • Contribute self-sufficient expertise and knowledge.
  • Plan and embed employability and enterprise initiatives with the course team.
  • Develop plans for future delivery and development of course materials to keep the course relevant and forward thinking.
